My... how the summer flew by. As you can tell by this pic the kids are really excited to be going back to school. Poor kids....they get a smaller summer break then the other schools here but the get more breaks. Around Halloween, they will have a week off, 2 for Christmas and either 2 or 3 weeks for Spring Break. It all works out the same but the kids don't see that. LOLJordon is now in the 7th grade. I thought I would have so much trouble with him this morning but he was up before I had a chance to go back there. LOL He has this year and next before he goes to High School. I don't even want to think about that just yet. I am really happy with the school they go to. It's called Goodnight and it's a year round school. It also goes up to the 8th grade. I am not sure but I think we are the only school in town that does. This year their is only one 7th grade class room with 30 kids. YIKES! His class room is out in the trailers, (or whatever they call them) and they are cramped. I hope 7th graders are wearing deoderant because I am sure it's going to get smelling in there. LOL
My baby is in the 2nd grade. She really likes school but this morning she was slower then mo and wouldn't get going. Last year it was the opposite with the kids. LOL I think she was just scared about going into a new classroom. She knows that she will have alot more homework so I think that is why. I went with them both this morning to drop off all their school supplies and meet their teachers. I stayed with Jarica for awhile. I made sure to let the teacher know that I don't want Jarica sitting with this kid named Lucas. Last year all he did was fight with her. I can't wait to see how their day went.
